Upoc going through a major facelift in terms of both design and new feature functionality. The new direction is taking its user base to "microblog" and start following each other's updates minute by minute. Life is mobile, and now you can let your friends in on the details of your day as it unfolds. The industry calls it microblogging we call it Up2. Dada Entertainment plans to use this new technology platform for its artists in near future.

I recently designed two different concepts for the Upoc Wap site. Upoc Wap site has over 2 million registered users.

UPOC recently introduced a streamline Mobile Chat Application for it's 3 million plus user community. Upoc SaySo is a cool way to get your chat fix without the wait. Users can chat with others in real time! The application is tailored to meet new friends as users connect with thousands of other members on topics ranging from celebrity gossip to culture shots.

New York-based Upoc Networks was founded in 1999 with the vision of a service that would let an emerging breed of mobile consumers communicate with the people and companies that are important to them. It originated from the phrase "Universal Point of Contact," because at the time, cross-carrier SMS (text messaging) was not widely available.

Today, with more than 3 million registered users, Upoc has more experience than any North American company in the space, partnering with most all North American wireless carriers to offer consumer entertainment and community services that are accessible via SMS (text messaging), WAP (wireless Internet), voice, MMS (multimedia messaging), BREW and the Web via its own brand, Upoc.com. Site launched on June 20th, 2007.

University of Dayton recently redesigned their homepage. They wanted a fresh look that will enable them to target their audience group. I was very involved in the prcoess of this redesign. After initial discovery phase I designed eight different concepts, we then narrowed it down to three concepts. We refined some more and on August 2006 the site went live. The site recently been selected as one of the "Best College & University CSS Websites" by CSSElite.

Along with the main site I was also involved in redesigning the Search micro site. We integrated Google API to the site. An A to Z Ajax effect was added for quick findings through out the entire site.

Last fall, the University of Dayton added My Life at UD, a candid blog Web site, to its recruitment tools. New faces and technology were recently added to the site in hopes of creatively and realistically portraying the lives of nine UD students to prospective students.

The homepage mylife.udayton.edu/mylife.jsp employs real UD students who are free to post about anything from their relationship status to annoying college professors through weekly journal entries and photo galleries. This fall, the Office of Enrollment Management and UDit Internet Development Division also added downloadable Podcasts and the chance to watch three students’ lives unfold on video.

Last year UD completely redesigned it's alumni site. The site caters all the UD alumni community, association and help raising funds for UD. After intial launch the site became popular among UD alumni communities.

ReliefWeb is the world’s leading on-line gateway to information (documents and maps) on humanitarian emergencies and disasters. An independent vehicle of information, designed specifically to assist the international humanitarian community in effective delivery of emergency assistance, it provides timely, reliable and relevant information as events unfold, while emphasizing the coverage of "forgotten emergencies" at the same time.

StockLayouts LLC, an Oregon-based company, was organized in July 2001 to develop and market customizable graphic designs of professional marketing materials. The company offers a library of design templates at affordable prices. Value-bundled CDs, which contain hundreds of pre-designed templates, stock photos and artwork are also available. The site needed a redesign, after the discovery phase I organized the content, designed the navigation and created very detailed wireframes. The site now stands out among it's peers.

Gizmonews.com offers up the daily tidbits of what’s hot in latest gadgets. The site post news on everything related to gadgets, gizmos, and cutting-edge consumer electronics. The site has attracted thousands of page views over the last two years and gone through several redesign process.

April 8th, 2007 - I did another redesign (1 | 2) - this time I took a much more minimalist approach. Content is king!

Stainguard, (that was traditionally sold in furniture stores worldwide and now available online at www.stainguard.com ) solved a lot of problems caused by all sort of stains. Stainguard will protect and condition any upholstery, leather, mattress or any other fabric you would like to keep new forever! At Cyberworx I was involved in this overall design process.

Richard Ruben's teaching career began when he started answering customers' questions about the dishes he was making. The semintive of New York started holding classes for customers of his catering and retail business in Sydney, Australia. Twelve years later the International Association of Culinary Professionals honored Ruben as the Cooking Teacher of the Year. Ruben is an instructor at The Institute of Culinary Education, formerly the Peter Krump's Cooking School in New York City. In collaboration with Cyberworx I designed a microsite for Richard.
